GHL 2026 Annual General Meeting and 10 Year Anniversary Celebration
The Giiwednong Health Link Annual General Meeting was held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the Delta Hotel Waterfront in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Voting Members, First Nation leaders, Board Directors, stakeholders, and staff gathered in person to complete the annual business of the corporation and reflect on another year of progress in advancing digital health initiatives for GHL First Nation communities.
During the AGM, Voting Members reviewed and approved the minutes from the 2025 AGM, the Audited Financial Statements as at March 31, 2026, the 2025–2026 Annual Report, and a By-Law Amendment to support the continued governance and operations of GHL. The approval of these items reflected the ongoing commitment of GHL’s member First Nations to strong accountability, sound governance, and the shared vision of improving health and well-being through digital health solutions.
Immediately following the AGM, attendees remained together to celebrate GHL’s 10 Year Anniversary. The celebration provided an opportunity to acknowledge the First Nations leaders whose vision, guidance, and support helped build the foundation for GHL’s work over the past decade. It also marked an important milestone in recognizing the partnerships, community leadership, and collective efforts that have contributed to GHL’s growth and continued service to First Nation health centres.
The anniversary gathering highlighted the important role GHL has played in supporting digital health management, strengthening health centre operations, and improving access to tools and information for community-based care. The event brought together leaders, partners, and staff to honour the past 10 years while looking ahead to continued collaboration and innovation in support of GHL’s mandate.
GHL extends appreciation to its Voting Members, Board Directors, First Nation leaders, stakeholders, and staff for their continued support, participation, and commitment. The 2026 AGM and 10 Year Anniversary Celebration served as both a formal gathering for corporate accountability and a meaningful occasion to recognize a decade of progress, partnership, and dedication to improving the health and well-being of First Nation community members through digital health initiatives.
